You believe your booking should qualify, but no commission was received: Just let us know, and we will contact the hotel on your behalf. If we secure the commission, we will forward the applicable amount to the nonprofit. It is imperative, however, that we have your reservation confirmation email for our records beforehand. Your booking does not qualify for a commission: In this case, no further action is needed. Typically, when you enter our agency referral number, some platforms will display the commission percentage applicable to your booking in advance. This way, you can focus on your travel plans while we handle the rest.

It is because you signed up using that particular nonprofit's unique URL. That link automatically links your account to their organization. If you wish to continue using WayKind ® but want to designate a different nonprofit, simply register a new account with a different email address. Once your new account is created, you will have the ability to select and change nonprofits at any time going forward, no restrictions.

To designate a nonprofit means selecting the organization you want your eligible WayKind® bookings to support, subject to that nonprofit being enrolled, eligible, and in good standing with our program. To support a different nonprofit, you would need to create a new WayKind® account without using a referral link. If you sign up directly through WayKind®, you may designate an enrolled nonprofit separately for each eligible booking.

You can designate any IRS-approved 501(c)(3) organization. To receive funding, the organization must enroll with WayKind ® . If the nonprofit you want is not enrolled yet, you may notify them through our platform. We also reach out when payouts become available. Once they enroll and are eligible, they can receive funds generated from your bookings.

If your designated nonprofit becomes ineligible, closes, or stops participating, you will be asked to designate another nonprofit for future payouts. If no choice is made, the nonprofit share may be directed to our default nonprofit according to our fallback rules.

Because hotel payout reports are inconsistent. Each hotel sends different data, and it is often incomplete. Sometimes the confirmation number, guest name, or stay dates don't come through, or a traveler may mistype details when registering a booking. Your forwarded reservation confirmation gives us the exact information we need to match the hotel's commission to your booking so we know which nonprofit to pay. Without it, we may be unable to attribute the booking to your designated cause. For security, we encourage you to forward the confirmation after your stay. If you think you might forget, sending it right after you book is fine. We use the confirmation solely to verify the booking and route funds correctly; we never share your personal information with anyone. It is NOT mandatory, but it can be helpful to us. For your security, we are using a randomized email relay system, therefore nobody knows the final email account where we store these confirmations.

Keep your Stripe/bank details up to date to avoid failed payouts.
