About Us

My name is Szilard Nathan Vegas, and I am the Managing Member ofWholesale Hotels Group LLC, a limited liability company operating under the trade name WayKind™. Growing up, I always had dogs at home. While I have always been a city boy, I spent summers on my grandfather's farm in the Hungarian countryside, where I learned what it truly meant to care for animals—feeding them, cleaning up after them, ensuring their well-being. It taught me responsibility, empathy, and respect for all living things—as well as a lasting appreciation for not having to wake up at 4:30 a.m. every day. I immigrated to the United States with no financial resources and no safety net. Survival came first. I worked hard just to stay afloat. But as I gained stability, I felt a growing need to give back. I began supporting causes through donations and volunteer work. Yet over time, I realized that simply giving money didn't feel like enough. I wanted to do more.
I still occasionally bring food to stray animals and visit local shelters; bringing treats, playing with the dogs, and spending time with them. These moments are both fulfilling and heartbreaking. You give love, food, and attention, then walk away, knowing they will still need help tomorrow. There are no financial incentives. It's not convenient, nor is it pretty. It demands time, energy, and emotion. But we do it anyway, because we care. Because helping, even in small ways, brings a kind of happiness no success can replicate. And I know many of you feel the same way.
In 2017, I became Vice President of Mensa's Southern Nevada chapter, and since 2022, I have had the honor of serving as its President. That experience helped me see the constant resource challenges nonprofits face, and how badly a sustainable support model is needed.


I began asking myself a difficult but honest question: Was I really making a difference or just reacting to the needs in front of me? Donations helped in the moment, but they weren't sustainable. Volunteer hours brought joy, but the needs never stopped. I wanted to make a broader impact; something that didn't depend on my availability or disposable income.
That's when the idea for WayKind™ took root. I envisioned a system where giving wasn't limited to a specific moment or act, but built into everyday life—especially into things people already do. Travel, in particular, seemed like a massive untapped opportunity. People book hotels every day. Money moves in and out of the system constantly. What if a portion of that flow could be redirected toward meaningful causes, without asking travelers to pay more or change their habits substantially?
